How to sell your services to other panels as an SMM provider
PanelHubs Team · · 5 min read
Becoming a provider means other panels buy services from you and resell them to their own customers. You sell in bulk at lower margins, and in return you get steady volume from buyers who order through an API every day. It suits panel owners who already have reliable services, good provider relationships and the discipline to keep things running.
On PanelHubs, every panel already has the standard API v2 for resellers, and PanelHubs panels can buy from each other, so a panel can become a provider for others. The tools are there. The harder part is running the business well, which is what this guide covers.
Wholesale vs retail: two different jobs
When you sell retail, your customer is a person: a small business owner in Kigali, a musician in Johannesburg, an agency in Abidjan. They order a few times a week, care about clear descriptions and want help when something goes wrong.
When you sell wholesale, your customer is another panel. Their behaviour is different:
- They order through code. Orders arrive by API, often hundreds a day, at any hour.
- They are price-sensitive. They need room to add their own markup, so a few cents per thousand matter.
- They watch your reliability closely. If your orders stall, their customers complain to them, and they will switch to a backup provider quickly.
- They expect status updates to be accurate. Their panel syncs statuses from yours. A wrong status becomes their support problem.
Many owners do both: retail on the main panel and wholesale to resellers through the API. That works well, as long as you plan your prices for both groups.
Your API v2: what resellers need from you
The standard SMM API v2 is what makes wholesale possible. A reseller connects to your panel by entering your API URL and their own API key, imports your services, and from then on orders flow automatically. On PanelHubs, resellers only need to change the URL to point at your panel, because the format is the standard one they already know.
To make that connection pleasant for them:
- Keep service names and descriptions clear and consistent, because they will import them in bulk.
- Avoid renaming or deleting services without warning. A reseller's panel may have hundreds of orders linked to a service ID.
- Use the service updates page so resellers can see price and service changes.
- Be precise about minimums, maximums, start times and refill terms.
Selling to other PanelHubs panels
Because PanelHubs panels can buy from each other, other owners on the platform can find you as a provider. For you, that is a channel of buyers who already run panels and understand how ordering works. For them, it is a way to add services without searching through unknown providers.
Treat it like any marketplace: your reputation is your real asset. One bad week of stuck orders can cost you buyers that took months to win. Start with the services you know are stable, and grow your list carefully.
Pricing tiers for resellers
You will usually want different prices for a one-off retail buyer and a reseller sending large volumes every day. PanelHubs gives you a few ways to do that:
- Per-customer discounts and custom prices. Give a reseller a discount across the board, or set a custom price on the services they order most.
- Loyalty levels with discounts. Customers move up levels as they spend, and each level can carry a discount. This rewards resellers who grow with you.
- Child panels. You can sell child panels to customers, billed monthly. The child panel buys services from your panel and sets its own prices. This turns a reseller into a long-term account.
When you set wholesale prices, start from your own cost per service and work out your minimum acceptable margin. As an example only: if a service costs you 1.00 per thousand, you might sell it retail at 1.60 and wholesale at 1.25. The exact numbers depend on your market, but always know your floor before you negotiate.
Reliability: the part buyers really pay for
Wholesale buyers pay for reliability more than anything. A few habits help:
- Use backup providers per service so that if one source fails, orders can go elsewhere.
- Watch your provider balances. PanelHubs sends low provider balance alerts. An empty balance means failed orders for your resellers.
- Let automation do the routine. Statuses sync from your providers automatically, and partial or cancelled orders are refunded to the customer balance automatically, so resellers see accurate results.
- Test before you list. Place real test orders on new services before offering them to resellers.
Support expectations
Resellers will contact you when their own customers contact them. Respond quickly, give clear answers and keep a record. The built-in tickets system works well for this, and many providers add a Telegram or WhatsApp button for urgent issues. Publish your support hours honestly so buyers know what to expect.
Be honest about services too. Follow each social platform's rules and local law, and describe what a service actually delivers. Never present engagement as coming from real people when it does not. Your resellers repeat your descriptions to their customers, so your honesty protects the whole chain.
